I'm guessing at the logic here

I think the underlying "logic" in all of the complaints is that ACORN registers people who don't register themselves. Those who don't register themselves are the poor and otherwise disenfranchised. So, of course, the registrations obtained will produce votes almost totally for the Democrats. That is unacceptable. But rather than just saying that, we get hot air, rationalization, and conspiracy theory.
