you know, that is a very good question. I have developed a theory about technical analysis in general (not just P&F)....I think it is more about having a methodology and following it so you don't do stupid shit. If you buy something on support and it doesn't go up, you have nice tight stops so you can exit rather than doubling down to lower your cost basis.

I think there is something to TA, but I've seen too many things reverse and then reverse again that using it as anything but a guide is probably a bad recipe for investing. I'm kinda sticking with "buy good fundamentals on really bad days".
