I still occasionally scan a page of posts there <he admits, guiltily>.

There are a few whack-job regulars there. Most are intelligent, probably reasonably successful people. The moderator occasionally takes shots at groups I respect, i.e., the Hoover Institute.

Here's my guess: Those folks have no serious exposure to the analysis that guides the thinking prevalent here. Without that, it's possible to believe weird and sorry stuff.

And they outnumber the dorks that hang here by a huge margin.
