There have now been two posts relating to competing technologies over the past few months. If those posters are still out there, I'd be interested to know more about why you like the competing formats better and why you think they can still prevail. Even the far better-situated I-Werks has had great difficulty attaining the penetration and market credibility of IMAX. On top of excellent technology and very fine productions, IMAX is (to me) achieving a tremendous branding advantage. People go out to see "Imax" movies, not "3-D" movies or "large-screen-format" movies.

Having said all of that, I'm puzzled (as is the company I.R.) about the softness in the stock. Does anyone have any idea where the pressure is coming from?
