Speaking of priorities, Master Bates...

It appears that Obama has an interesting notion of priorities as well...

OBAMA RALLY | Campaign to pay $2 million cost

October 24, 2008

BY FRAN SPIELMAN City Hall Reporter

Mayor Daley on Thursday put a $2 million pricetag on the cost of city services tied to Barack Obama's giant election night rally in Grant Park and said the cash-flush Obama campaign has agreed to cover every penny.

“We have a financial crisis….The city of Chicago could not afford $2 million on this because we're gonna be laying off people, cutting back. That [cost] would really be unfortunate…It's a huge cost to the city of Chicago,” Daley said.

And you are worried about clothing and makeup costs? This sounds a tad disingenuous to me.

Let's put a liberal spin on this shall we: just think about all the poor people that 2 million would feed. LOL!

Then again, nothing is too good for the messiah. LOL!

PS: Please note that this is just the cost to the city (although I am sure it will be much more then that...it's the Chicago way). Who knows how much the Dali-Bama will be spending on food and entertainment.
