Bloomberg: Natural Gas Drops on Outlook for Weaker Economy, Lower Demand
bloomberg.com

expected to open nearly 20 cents, or 3 percent, lower on

=====

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR October 24, 2008 Gulf Production remains flat at 8.8 Bcf/d. With repairs made to Tenn and Transco Offshore production had climbed from less than 5.2 Bcf/d early in the week to over 5.5 Bcf/d today. Garden Banks lifted their force majeure based on fixes to the Tenn Blue Water Header System however; restrictions on oil pipelines appear to be keeping the system from flowing. UTOS is expected to nominate gas today but no nominations were posted in the evening cycle. Total deferred offshore production since 8/29 now stands at 294 Bcf with daily deferred Gulf production now less than 3 Bcf/d.
