Bush, like every other modern president, has taken from the rich and given to the poor. Much closer to "Robin Hood" than "a reverse Robin-Hood".

Sorry the budget just doesn't bear this out. The 5 trillion that bush added to the debt came from Iraq, the medicare drug plan and various other pork plans like the farm bill. These recipients are not "the poor". You could argue that that trillion dollar medicare drug plan was dedicated to the "poor" but we all know that is disingunuous. The medicare drug plan cost the taxpayer one trillion but provided maybe 100 billion worth of drugs to the poor. The rest went to drug company profits. That is the legacy of the Bush 5 trillion. The public realizes this which is why republicans are losing so badly. The big question is where did the money go? Not to any of the "little people" they saw nothing for their 5 trillion in expenditures.
