Clinton, like all Dem presidents in recent memory, was a wimp on national security. America always pays when the POTUS shows more concern for the opinion of the UN than he does for that of the American people. That's the crucial difference between Repub and Dem presidents. The former have more respect for their fellow citizens - while the latter is always trying to please the unworthy international community.
