What writing exists other than those two possibly ghost written memoirs?
No evidence they are ghost written. Tons of evidence, including testimonies from various folk at the publishers office, that Obama was the sole author. Unless you have some strong evidence, to call them "possibly ghost written" reveals far more about yourself than about Obama.
There has been no legal scholarship published anywhere, which is astonishing considering his time at Harvard Law Review and lawprof at U. of Chicago. What happened to publish or perish?
As I recall, there is piece or two from his time at Harvard. But you can bet your house on the notion that his work at Harvard was read and reread reread for him to be on the Review and to be the lead person on it. It would only have been top notch.
As for his position at the U. of Chicago, he was not on a tenure track line. Reportedly he was offered, several times, either a tenure track line or tenure (wasn't clear just which) and turned it down in favor of a political career. So Chicago was more than satisfied with his work.
Given the standards at those two law schools, your concerns, again, reveal more about yourself than about Obama.
We can't even read his dissertation from Columbia, it's disappeared from the archives. What do we really know about this guy? There is no paper trail.
Read his speeches, particularly his speech on race. By all reputable accounts, he wrote it himself. And writes most if not all of his speeches. |
