IMO Bush out stayed the welcome given to the extreme right bubble. One stinker of a house guest. Even without Iraq, his continuation of Reaganomics is a decade too late. 911 kept him popular much longer than was his right. Obama could win by Reagan margins. Now that's political capital. We might get national health care or, at least, significant reform. Obama didn't take public funds except that he took funds in small amounts from the public....maybe that's the way national health care comes about as well. It comes from people buying into federal health insurance bit by bit. :)
