Hyperinflation or depression? I'm confused. I know that either one is possible but not probable. But does anyone really know what's happening or how bad it truly is? With the Fed throwing trillions out of helicopters I'm amazed that the dollar hasn't imploded. On the contrary it rizes exponentially. Will the Chinese and the Europeans move to halt the run to the dollar? Can they? reuters.com On the other hand the following makes a strong argument for a destructive deflationary move: moneyandmarkets.com Can anyone point me to an ongoing discussion or reading on the inflation vs deflation debate?
