I liked them.

I'm still pretty much a democratic socialist- but sure, I find the Rockefeller Republicans nice people. There are people who are not engaged in culture wars, but merely in political give and take, and I find those people interesting- and then there are the culture warriors- striking out for the purity of their beliefs- religious or otherwise- or trying to take the country back to some idyllic past that never existed for everyone- I find them idiotic and dangerous.
