Joe's stepfather is a hardline rightwing ideologue who taught Joe to hate government programs like Social Security and Medicare since infancy. Joe is a brainwashed dupe of the right. Now his stepfather has had two brain surgeries and desperately needs government help but can't get it. So says Joe's aunt on Ed Schultz. She says Joe is a nice guy but totally deluded about politics. Indeed Joe makes 42 K a year and would get a tax cut from Obama and screwed by the GOP.
