If you believe that, then you deny a persons intellectual ability to resist power. I believe strong self actualized people, can easily resist the trappings of power. After all, power means nothing in the end, to a person who understands it means nothing.

I have had a fair amount of power several times, and never abused it, and had no trouble at all walking away fom it.
Many people have no desire to have power over anyone. I ceertainly do not.

Einstein turned down the presidency of Israel. An enlightened person realizes power is nothing but an illusion. Siddhartha knew that-lol.
