And ironicaly Cheney who gave a very reasoned argument for not going after Sadam in Bagdhad. There is a prescient video showing cheney explaing that. Which he later ignored with lil bush. Also, remember bush sr also gave assurances to the shia that if they tried to overthrow Sadam the US would be behind them. The shia tried and bush never followed up and in fact allowed Sadam to have helicopter gunsships and they slaughterd the shia. Bush sr never lifted a hand to help. Just watched thme be slaughtered. Bush sr callously did that. One of the worst things any persident has ever done.
