McCain "losing in a way that threatens to take entire Republican party down with him"
GOOD! I HOPE THAT HAPPENS.
I am a life long Republican. The current GOP is not a Republican Party that I belong to. This is NEOCON Party. Let's kick them out. I want the true Republican Party to return to its root. The Party of Abraham Lincoln, the Party of Eisenhower, the party that has family values, honest, with compassion, the party that is fiscally responsible, and not just for the very rich, the party that does not engage in unnecessary occupation of a country that has nothing to do with 9/11. The party that does not impose American values and policing the world by forcing democracy unto others.
Some countries prefer monarchy and they are doing well. Should American enforce democracy to a country like Brunei? There is no election for the top position in that country. The Sultan is the ultimate ruler, and the people live happily. Sarah Palin's objective of spreading democracy is just a bunch of bull. We like democracy in America, but don't force it to others if they so not to choose this system.
If we force our belief, especially evangelical Christian, aren't we any different from radical Moslems who want to force others to accept Moslem religion?
Finally, I hope that Obama Presidency will not be tarnished by the man in the WH and got into power abuse just to enrich himself and his supporters. Let's have government that place the people first and not just a lip service like McCalin and Palin trumpeting a hollow message of "country first". |
