If we as a society would look at what I suggested earlier, I don’t see that we would have NEED to spend more money on education…..We should rather, look at what the private schools are able to do, with approximately 4 times LESS than the public schools and then allocate the money we do have differently.
At the VERY least, I would like an entity of several people of the Repub and Dem representatives actually do some work and compare the different types of educational situations, salaries, union dues, etc etc….and let the American people know what they find….Actually, it is so polarized in this country, it would be interesting and no doubt very informative to have 3 SEPARATE panels evaluating both types of education, using the same questions. The results should be the same for each panel, but as we all know, that might be an iffy matter….
There is a considerable difference in cost between the private schools and the public schools. We could half that difference, and apply that amount to the education and/or training of those who are special needs kids.
It would seem to me that we look at what the private schools are doing that is turning out educated kids, and graduating them...compare the costs, and apply those standards to the public schools.
