Your comment is a classic on why the whole discussion about insurance in America is hopeless: The average American does not have a clue. You once again miss the point. A lot of men under 30 wisely buy health insurance. Its not about who needs it and who doesn't. Its about freedom to choose how one wants to spend their own money. Regarding auto insurance you have other choices. Walk. Take the bus. Ride a bike.
