Media's Presidential Bias and Decline

The author complains that the media is biased. One example he provides is how the media during the Israel attack on Lebanon showed many shots of cluster bombs hitting Lebanon but few shots of rockets hitting Israel. As with many of the examples he cites, I don't follow his argument. The Israeli attack on Lebanon was a hundred times more powerful than the Hez. attack on Israel......there was absolutely no comparison at the level of destruction in Lebanon vis-a-vis Israel. Consequently, is it not logical to expect that the media would focus more on the destruction in Lebanon? Like to hear your opinion.

Then he talks about the presidential campaign and joe the plumber. Again, I don't understand from where he's coming. He's upset that joe was treated badly by the press.......is that because they exposed his lies? Because he had 'the courage' to talk to Obama, his lies should have been ignored? I don't get what the criticism is all about.......can you elaborate? TIA.
