I didn't know that corporate America was responsible for the money supply, fiscal policies and regulations relating to business. I had this nutty idea that the government was responsible for that. "A civilized society does not let its people starve and suffer." Actually it is farmers who do not let us starve. I doubt very much that government has much control over suffering. In the end it is technology that eases our suffering. Whether this be in the field of medicine and health or elsewhere. As a long time observer of Government I have not noticed that it does much to advance the human condition. On the other hand corporatons have done much. Little joe
