You're right, Jules! I forgot all these chips. Another good reason for all of us to dump our Intel stock before the end of trading today!

On a more serious note, I wonder when IBM, a company with more than a few smart people, is going to wake up and realize that their Herculean efforts to design and/or manufacture chips such as the PowerPC and 6x86, NexGEN chips, etc., is leading them further into the nowhereland of success.

Throw OS/2 into this scrap heap as well.

Their return on investment from these programs must be minimal. Don't their accountants speak to their management?
