"It is just that I heard more than one person say"

Early on in my career as a lawyer I ran into the "Some Guy told me" phenomenon.

I would explain something to a client and he would counter with "but Some Guy told me" something totally different from what I had just told him.

I quickly learned that arguing against Some Guy is totally pointless, so what I do now is look around my office and ask "Is Some Guy in the room with us? No? In that case you'll excuse me if I totally disregard Some Guy's opinion on the subject."

Basically what you are asking us to do is to refute arguments that we have already refuted more than once.

Why on earth would we be willing to spend our time doing that? How is it not a complete waste of time?

I will admit the "went to school in Kenya" argument is novel, at least to me, but even the most cursory research would reveal to you that it isn't true.
