Congrats on the trade. Nice to see a trade that produced a profit.

<<should i really wish to unload today on everything as many in hk must soon enough do or die>>

I can get my condo there at sars type prices soon eh?

I must admit I never imagined things would unravel this fast and to this degree. Thank God I kept some cash and gold.

<<conclusion, babyboomers without savings (as opposed to tanking investments) competing against new job mkt entrants, and rewarded by ever longer hours of toil, and imploded 401k, and at negative cash flow on 'investment properties' and leveraged, are victims #1 through millions>>

Yes, I am not planning to join them. However, a mine field it is out there with each area in turn getting decimated shortly after being declared the place to be.

With the above in mind keep a watchful eye on gold. As HB points out the mining stocks and Gold prices are diverging leading many to believe miners must go up but it could signaling gold to go down. Not predicting one way or another and I know you are a long term holder but gold so far is about the only thing that hasn't been crushed.
