And Clinton certainly did not pay off all the Reagan debts. That is flat out untrue.

It is true, sorry. I have done significant work on the US debt. A lot of people try to deflect the outstanding fiscal management that was achieved during the Clinton era by claiming there was no surplus and other crap, but I'm too smart for that.

Any graph of the PUBLICLY HELD DEBT from the beginning to the end of the Clinton era says it all.
