JAG, << Althought I am not happy that sales are down for the June 1997 quarter to the June 1996 quarter >>

In June 1996 the stock sold for $30 or so. I'll take a 1/3 price bargain for an 8% decrease, anyday. I think the buyers that came in in the $4-$10 level will be happy with what they got. For another broken software stock, I noticed Forte broke down again on upcoming earnings. Its hard to gauge these software companies - it may be almost like biotechs with a more gullible collection of investors, some will hit with a truly remarkable growth product and most will just stumble along.

How much more price Applix can recover I have no idea, I don't know how much of earlier pricing was overdone. Also unclear is how much growth potential the company has beyond the current products: I suspect if it gets too successful it will be bought out, anyway, so I'll worry about that later.
