Yep, funny thing tho, the SEC has never done a dog-on thing about Naked Short Sellers

UNTIL THE BIG WALL STREET INVESTMENT BANKS GOT INTO TROUBLE.

Myriads of requests throughout the years to contain NSS's have NEVER been dealt with by the SEC until they needed to protect their buddy crooks. Finally, they had to restrict NSS as their past behavior came back to bite them in their own face!
