he will undoubtedly nominate and appoint people who currently surround him.
What other friends has he surrounded himself with besides Ayres, Dohrn, Wright, Farikan, Rezko, Soros, etc?

Friends he's surrounded himself with? Really? Can you show where any of them are on his team, or close friends, or on the campaign trail with him? I'm not very interested in guilt by association, it merely implies you can't find anything wrong with the man himself, but let's see.

Apart from being raised and raised by McCain and various RW commentators I haven't noticed Ayers, Dohrn, or Rezko having any actual role with Obama.

Perhaps you'd believe Bush's legal council on this?

I believe Obama was going to have Wright, as his pastor, give some address or other during the nomination process: but he changed his mind after hearing about some particular sermon or address Wright gave. Other than that I don't see that he's got any role on the Obama team.

Don't know who Farikan is - do you mean Louis Farrakhan? I don't believe that reptile has any connection to Obama: he may well prefer Obama to McCain (never mind Bush) but then so does a majority of most polls.

Soros is a billionaire philanthropist, investor and speculator. I don't know why associating with him would be especially bad - he's left-wing, so what?
And again what role does he have?

Meanwhile, amidst all these smears, I'm not seeing personal attacks like that directed at McCain. AFAIK the Keating affair, for example, isn't being officially raised and used against him despite far more active involvement.
And Palin is being quite justly attacked not on associates - I don't see Obama bringing up her husband's membership, her own laudatory speeches to a grouping that is quite literally anti-American?
She's being attacked for ignorance, greed, lack of ethics, illegal use of state power, etc: and as many on both wings have said she is plainly unfit for the role of President, even VP. I see a clear difference there.

You choose to think that Obama hasn't been questioned, that issues haven't been raised, and that there must be some media conspiracy to cover and protect them. Some unspecified person or power has put a 'fix' in.
I'm afraid that's not a worldview I can relate to, and I don't see a rational debate to be had: I'm sorry, but for me that's like debating why the earth isn't flat.
