Of course this analogy is bogus, and dishonest. It ignores the payroll tax. Every worker pays payroll taxes. Most Americans pay more in payroll taxes than they do in income tax. The payroll tax generates nearly as much revenue as the income tax yet the right pretends it doesn't exist. Can't you guys make your case honestly? Also, America doesn't pay it's bills. We run up debt. Republicans have nearly doubled our debt from $5.7 trillion to $10 trillion just during the Bush years. That bar owner would've thrown us out of his bar years ago if we paid for beer the way America pays its bills... Republican politicians refuse to pay their bills. When it comes to economics, you guys on the right live in fantasyland... SD
