The debt level which various Americans owe to other Americans is quite enormous.

In fact, this debt is so very large relative to incomes that it can no longer be sustained. This is why we're currently experiencing an economic depression.

The chart below shows both total consumer, business, and governmental debt - and the federal governmental portion broken-out seperately- relative to U.S. income.
