I hope so, but Obama is just a man, not a miracle worker. He's the best man for the job, but I believe that the Republicans had this all planned. They knew that they were in deep shit and weren't going to win this election. So they are making the situation in the country so incredibly dire that when the Dems take office, they won't be able to fix it, and thus, they will get blamed for it.

Nein. You are way too negative.....and conspiratorial. The Republicans in their current form are incompetent jerks.......planning anything is anathema to them. The mess we are in is due to eight years of incompetency and greed.

Bush is passing on all his unresolved problems, which he created, to Obama to fix. In 4 years, no one will remember that Bush created this mess. They will only remember that Obama is still struggling to fix it and they will blame him for the problems. Obama my be a 1 termer because of this. But I'm getting ahead of myself. :)

You forget what Obama has said........we have to work together. Its We, the people....not Obama, the president. I firmly believe there is a reason why Obama chose the Midwest over the two coasts when he left Hawaii. Its going to take Midwestern values and hard work to get us out of this mess and he's just the man to lead us during this time.

And, dude, think two terms. ;-)
