Michael Medved asks:Will Obama Barrage Bring Voter Backlash?

October 28, 2009, townhall.com

Will the over-saturation of Democratic TV ads create a backlash that could actually help McCain on Election Day? Anyone who watches television can see the disproportion of Obama commercials. He’s outspending McCain on advertising by at least three-to-one nationwide, and by startling figures of five-to-one in Virginia and eight-to-one in North Carolina. Combined with the increasingly obvious media bias for Obama –as exemplified by the sick obsession with Sarah Palin’s wardrobe –the constant and increasingly annoying messages about the need to vote The One has already begun to breed resentment. Americans love an underdog and they don’t like authority figures constantly barraging them with orders of what to do. If the public wants to say no to an arrogant front-runner, no to condescending commentators, and no to over-reliance on money in politics, there’s only one way to vote on November 4th
