People who favor the Electoral College consistently argue that small states will get less attention than bigger ones if the EC is abolished. But how much time do we see the candidates spending in places like Montana or Rhode Island right now? None. Allen, the real reason the low population states won't agree to end the EC is that they get more votes with it. No matter how small the state, they get at least 3 votes--2 Senators and a Congressman.
