I was just noticing that the birth cert. issue is still roiling around a bit on PfP. Someone posted how angry it made them that someone didn't have to prove citizenship to run for President.

Since we at Center have taken the position that you do have to provide it, I wish there were some way to verify that fact. Of course, they may have accepted the certificate of birth from Hawaii since the passport office accepts that. I read that it is an acceptable legal document for all purposes. Am not sure exactly why there are two different documents.

Hmm, just pulled ours out. Dan's is signed by the attending physician (Ohio). Mine is not (Mass). In fact, mine seems to be like Obama's.

I might have been born in Kenya, too! It could become the in thing.
