Wharfy <feeling guilty I wasn't there,> I had 10 months to go at that time, so reading about the riots was a total downer. 10 months of this shit if I make it out and then going home to marshall law? It was surreal. How about TLC...he was there! The Army Times and AFN almost completely censored what went on in Chicago. The rumors were all over the place about what happened and how it started. Oh the times, they are a changing! Been phoning people in NH. Most of them have been civil - had a couple of major ass-wipes supporting McCain..I broke the training guidelines of being polite and moving on...by dishing shit right back in their face...funny they didn't hang up...ya gotta have a little fun!
