It's a good thing you were able to pay for the repairs before you received your money. We did the same thing when the hurricanes did damage to our condo. We immediately hired a tile man and plumber to repair some of the damage. Many of the people couldn't afford to make the repairs that were needed without the insurance money, and by the time they got the money, they had to wait for workers. For some it took as much as a year to get everything done..
