Drug and alcohol abuse are choices first and compulsions later. It has been suggested on this thread that welfare recipients be required to take a drug an alcohol screening before they receive benefits in he same way we do to be employed. From what I saw most people supported this idea. The question becomes would we, as a society, also support the screening out cancer victims from receiving SSI or welfare benefits? I don't think we would
