"Failed policy of socialism". Look if your talking the Soviet Union its a joke of an argument - Obama isn't Stalin dressed up in wolves’ clothing - its absurd. "European Socialism" is a term that is often dropped derisively by the right wing though. Yeah all the Joe and Sally six packs out there who support the Republicans sure hate "European Socialism". That’s a bigger joke because none of those people have ever been to Europe! I was suspicious of "European culture" too until I actually went there and had the luck to live just outside of Amsterdam for 3 months about 20 years ago. I'll say this much - the Europeans have a FINE, FINE lifestyle and these morons without healthcare or half the social nets who ridicule it are in fact the ridiculous - they just don't know it. It is truly ironic that the Republican Party can find so much support among the poor in the richest nation on earth! Europeans are too smart and informed to let a few have everything. No dumb wedge issues over there.
