Thanks for the ideas. Wasn't aware of Eastman, and hadn't really considered Foster Wheeler. Interesting that FWLT also does a lot of LNG stuff.

The big question is how much of an energy bust is already priced into these stocks. The stocks are way down right now. It could be an opportunity buy solid businesses with good long term growth potential. If we are truly going into multi-year energy bust, these stocks will go nowhere. But is there much downside left?

Long term, I really buy into the peak oil idea and I think coal gassification will be a huge industry. Especially with things like UCG that could drastically reduce the cap ex required.

But it is hard to figure out exactly who will make money off a boom. There is lots of coal out there. And there are lots of companies with gassification and GTL capabilities.
