The only sharp cultural differences now come from language, religion and skin color in most cases, if then. I don't see it that way. I think that cosmopolitan vs rural is a big item. Risk takers vs conservators. High tech vs old school. Gamers and dopers vs everyone else. Jocks vs geeks. Teamers vs loners. Intellectuals vs average Joes. Slut vs chaste. Shoppers vs savers. Entrepreneurs vs bureaucrats vs assembly line workers. Families who eat dinner together vs independent microwavers. Home schooled vs private schooled vs public schooled. Working moms vs stay at home moms. My first draft of the EPA reinvention package included the problem of people who work best alone and the new practice of teaming. Cultural diversity used to mean something other than race, religion, and ethnicity. Miners had a "culture." So did cheerleaders.
