JOhn, Several years ago, I read a remarkable book called The Yellow Wind by David Grossman. He was a journalist for an Israeli paper who went out and interviewed Palestinians and Jews. The result was a compassionate yet still honest portrayal of the actions of both sides. The insights into the Palestinian points of view were profound. I haven't felt the same about the conflict since, nor have I taken on automatic trust the view of Israel. Atrocities have been committed and an awful lot of innocents have suffered on both sides. The demonization of Khalidi is very disturbing, and I am glad you are posting these articles.
