Another reason to hope the election isn't close, to see the deliberate demonization of not so radical people get rejected by moderate voters.

Whatever happens, I'm sure that lots of people will claim it as a ratification of their favorite insightful rationale but it will be mostly projection. We are unlikely to know how big a factor any of the was. And it's unlikely that any one factor was THE deciding one.
