There is something I've been wanting to say to you. You have complained on several occasions about the 20 somethings who are voting for Obama; that they have little experience and are easily fooled. I know you don't feel that way about all 20 somethings.......at least the ones like your son and daughter who are voting for McCain.......in fact, I bet you think they're swell.

However, I can tell you anecdotally that you are wrong about the Obama 20 somethings getting fooled into voting for him. Everyone of them with whom I have talked about this election have been much more informed on the issues in this race and much clearer about their concerns for this country than some of the older people with whom I have spoken. They are less affected by race and ethnicity and more concerned with competency and honesty. And they have the extra benefit of not getting all hyped about the issue of taxes which I believe makes for a 'purer' voter......one where greed doesn't play into the equation. And many of them have worked hard to make this election happen......reviewing polling statistics in blogs, walking door to door, canvassing by phone, working on GOTV, etc. They have been incredible.

I know my comments will not change your perception but I wanted you at least to see them in writing.
