Interesting! I think I understand why she wanted you to see someone else.

In psychoanalysis, transference is the unconscious process in and by which an individual's feelings, thoughts, and wishes shift from one person to another. Since you are conscious of the process you describe in your post, you must therefore be a malinger.

What good psychoanalysis wouldn't recognize that a person malingering a negative transference is squandering their time and are probably just trying to be declared mentally disabled so they can draw disablility from the rest of us tax payers. And you know how much taxes a good psychoanalysis pays!

I must admit that I was impressed that you properly recongized that transference is usually between the patient and his or her analysis!
