>>" He (Khalidi) was surprised, the friends said, that so little criticism came — until this last frenzied week before the election, when Senator John McCain cited the April article in The Los Angeles Times about a dinner Mr. Obama attended in Mr. Khalidi’s honor in 2003, and questioned Mr. Obama’s commitment to Israel. "<<

Can you imagine, a national figure having dinner with someone such as Khalidi, a known PLO sympathizer?

My gosh, what next?...will someone such as Mahmoud Abbas, a well known PLO sympathizer, be openly and warmly welcomed at the White House and actually have personal meetings in the Oval Office with the leader of the free world? Ohmigosh!!!

And what if someone who was a PLO sympathizer actually spent several days at Camp David with a whole group of his PLO sympathizers meeting several times with the leader of the free world and even had dinner together? And not only that, there were Israelis there too. They clearly lacked "commitment to Israel".

No doubt Mr McCain would never let something such as that happen. Why migosh, the man is an expert on foreign affairs.
