As far as I know the European gauge railroad project is moving ahead - but do not have to-date news and if the current credit crunch stopped or delayed construction. From what I know the KARS part from Baku to Turkey to be linked to Europe will be financed by EBRD. As to Nabucco gas pipeline I am not sure if they secured financing. Kazakhstan moves ahead with the linkage to Western China even that there is plenty of unrest from the local Muslim population in China As ot the EUR/USD pair I am waiting for elections and Nov 15 meetings to get a clearer picture
