Follow up...

According to the following clip from an article on Highbeam Research, IHI had already owned a 49% LP interest in OrbitForm since 1998 so the later purchase wasn't all that far fetched.

Industrial Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: IHII) ("IHI") reported today that it has reached an agreement, subject to approval of its shareholders, to acquire OF Acquisition, L.P. ("Orbitform"), a manufacturer of engineered fastener setting machines. Since February 1998, the Company has held a limited partnership interest in Orbitform. As a result of this transaction, IHI will acquire the remaining 51 interest of Orbitform, and Orbitform will become one of its wholly owned subsidiaries. In addition, the agreement satisfies a requirement of its senior lenders. The Company believes that its control of Orbitform will provide it with greater ..."

Currently IHI is a mystery. I'm not sure if they have become the Industrial Holdings, Inc. headquartered in Atlanta that has moved to Real Estate Developing for commercial and industrial clients or one of the myriad of companies with IHI as part of their name or they are gone all together. Whatever the case, OrbitForm survived and has apparently done well and should soon be part of our little company :) :) :)
