true. Sometimes those early buyer act on their belief that past patterns will repeat. Sometimes those beliefs turn out to be wrong, resulting in another price dip.

opinion: This happened early 2001 when a bookings V recovery was assumed. When it became clear the bookings bottom was flat, price fell again - see below
