Re: The "Gamliel" story...It probably didn't get much traction because the Dems will NOT even hear of such a possibility, and the Repubs that aren't for Obama, are totally depressed at the thought that even though it is probably a true read of the situation, there is nothing much they can do about it. Even those who think the worst of Obama think he is a narcissist rather than a visionary ideologue. If you believe that, then Obama will do whatever continues to bring him adulation, rather than risk unpopularity by bringing in too many left wing programs. Besides, a tsunami of very real bad news will hit Obama as soon as he reaches the Oval Office. I literally have no idea how he will react.
