I never could figure out what the snipurl was for anyway.

I queried Frode, the Hyperwords's contact , about that. He gave me some BS about using it when the standard URL was too long. But they don't have an option that allows "snipurl only." The Hyperwords crew are Scandinavian, and communication is sometimes a little difficult.

Just getting rid of that annoyance has made me happy. Funny how little things like that can bug you.

I like the new "link" formatting here, but it's just too complicated. Oh, for a "formatting key" that would allow you to store it. It would be nice to highlight text and transform it or to have a "link" key. You get those kind of options in Email and other discussion groups, but I guess "SI Bob" is against it as too complicated or expensive.
