It was interesting to read about the 1920s version of the culture wars. I don't think the Paliolithic Republicans (Paliocons?) will give up that easy. Two big events in early October cooked the outcome - and Palin supporters will always point to the other factor - the economic crisis as the culprit. IOW the story they'll stick to is that it was the Specter of Depression that did them in, not the Depression of Specter! <g> BB
